Our 2025 Crank Queens Year-in-Review

What. A. Year.
2025 was overflowing with connection, growth, challenge, community, and so many miles of dirt. Whether you joined us for a ride, a clinic, a retreat, or an entire season of training, you helped make this year unforgettable.

Here’s a look back at everything we accomplished together:

16 Group Rides

Sixteen opportunities to show up, ride together, meet new friends, build confidence, and celebrate the joy of biking. From mellower spins to more technical adventures, these rides were the heartbeat of our community this year.

8 Bike Maintenance Clinics

From basic repairs to more advanced skill-building, these hands-on clinics helped riders gain the confidence to take care of their bikes. The winter months are always the best time to check in on your bike’s health, and our community showed up ready to learn.

Baker City Women’s MTB Weekend

A full weekend of rides + clinics + connection in Eastern Oregon with our partners in Baker City.

Special shoutout to our Ambassadors, Kendra and Stephanie, for helping make this trip such a success. This weekend was a highlight of the year, big views, big climbs, and even bigger smiles.

We also had tremendous help from Trailhead Bike Shop in Baker City, Churchill Baker City and lots of locals who supported and promoted this event. Over 20 women showed up to learn how to mountain bike!

8 Learning Sessions (Now Recorded!)

We covered topics like:

  • Reducing back pain on the bike

  • Safety + preparedness on the trails

  • Nutrition

  • Training basics

  • And so much more
All sessions are now recorded and available exclusively to our members.

3 Retreats

We surfed, rode, and recharged in:

  • Baja, Mexico (8 women from all over the US and Canada!)

  • Oakridge (13 women + our coaching team)

  • Bend (18 women + our coaching team - SOLD OUT event!)

These retreats were true resets, movement, community, connection, and fun in some of the most beautiful places in the West.

PNW Campout Weekend in Washington

A relaxed, unplugged weekend of riding, camping, and laughing under the trees of western Washington riding some of Crank Queens Founder’s favorite trails. Erica loves to go back to her home trails in the PNW any chance she gets and it was a delight to share the experience with women from the Olympia MTB ride club!

Off-the-Bike Education

Because being a stronger athlete, and human, is about more than time on the bike.
This year included:

  • A goal-setting workshop in January

  • A cooking class with Flava Meal Prep

  • Self-care and skincare classes with Heidi Lane Esthetics

  • Workshops that helped our community grow in confidence, clarity, and balance

Monthly Off-Season Spin Classes at PIVOT

Winter doesn’t stop us.

Our monthly spin classes kept legs moving and motivation high with individualized power zone training.

Expanded Group Programs

We expanded beyond Boise to offer group programs in:

  • Washington

  • Oregon

These new communities have been incredible additions to the Crank Queens family.

Four Full Group Programs in Boise

From total beginners to advanced riders, our 2025 lineup offered supportive coaching, strength training, accountability, and real transformation for women of all levels.

We coached dozens of women to learn how to mountain bike for the first time ever! And helped dozens more level up their skills this summer.

Giving Back to the Trails

We volunteered for two trail maintenance days with SWIMBA, helping care for the spaces we ride and love.

What a Year. What a Community.

If 2025 taught us anything, it’s this:
We are stronger together.
Your energy, your commitment, your courage, and your willingness to show up, this community thrives because of YOU.

Ready for 2026?

We’re already building an even bigger, more supportive year of rides, clinics, retreats, spin classes, and strength programs.

Want to join us in 2026? Stay tuned for sign-ups, updates, and early-bird opportunities coming soon.

Here’s to another year of riding, learning, adventure, and growth.

Let’s make 2026 our strongest year yet!
