Monthly Group Rides

MTB Skills Clinics & 1:1 Feedback

Learn advanced MTB skills in a safe and supportive environment. Our three part skills clinic series will include over 6 hours of instruction on the following topics:

  • Cornering Master Class: confidence with high speed corners, improving footwork, better flow/maintaining speed.

  • Precision Jumping and Flow: landing control, in the air manipulation, pumping, sequential jumps.

  • Mastering Drops: sending sidewalks, peek and push, progressions up to a 6’ drop.

  • Plus get 1:1 personalized feedback! Submit a practice video to Coach Levi and receive his customized feedback on your skill progression.

Weekly Accountability

Share your progress and stay accountable through the Voxer group chat. Check-in, stay on track and stay accountable to practicing the skills in between clinics.

  • You have been riding for at least 2 years and have attended a MTB Fundamentals/Foundations clinic. 

    You can perform these skills: 

    • Single finger braking

    • Bike body separation

    • Slow speed control of the bike: ratcheting, track stands

    • Wheel lifts

  • We will work on the following skills:

    • Cornering Master Class: confidence with high speed corners, improving footwork, better flow/maintaining speed.

    • Precision Jumping and Flow: landing control, in the air manipulation, pumping, sequential jumps.

    • Mastering Drops: sending sidewalks, peek and push, progressions up to a 6’ drop.

  • Yes, the program commitment is 3 months. This program is for women who are ready to prioritize skill development. It is not a drop in program. Change happens in community and throughout these 3 months you will also be building connection and community with other women who are working on their goals. If you miss a session, that’s OK. Just remember, you get out of it what you put into it!

  • Be prepared to dedicate at minimum 5+ hours/month to this program. That includes participating in a monthly group ride (2 hrs), clinics (2 hrs) and a monthly live learning session (1 hr). The more you invest - the more you will get out of this.

  • Nope! This program is open to any women regardless of Crank Queens membership.

Meet Erica

I started as a total beginner mountain biker in the spring of 2018. Although I’ve always been a fairly active adult, I’d lost focus on my fitness with the busyness of life. Riding 6 miles was a BIG accomplishment that first summer.

Eight mountain bikes and five years later, I now lead the fastest growing mountain biking community in SW Idaho with over 80 members and growing. I compete in endurance MTB races, I train other athletes, and I help women around the US start their own MTB communities.

Never did I imagine on that first ride that I would go from 6 miles being exhausting to riding 80+ miles in one day during an endurance MTB race where I placed 1st!

All this while raising a family, leading organizations, and volunteering as a coach for student athletes. (And finding time to read a good book here and there every once in a while…)

A lot of women ask me how I do it. How do I find time to ride with everything on my plate?

The truth? I’ve had to learn to prioritize my health and prioritize myself. And, I invested in myself through skills clinics, learning bike maintenance, buying gear that worked for me, and surrounding myself with other women who love to ride.
